Best parts for a Haro X2?

im buying a haro backtrail x2 next week, and wanna mod it out with the best parts on the market. i plan on using Primo Analog Lite sprocket, KoolStop Salmon brakes, Maxxis Holy Roller tires (for front) but im not sure on what else i should use. my main problem is the handle bars/stem. when i land, the bars flop back from impact. i want a good set of bars and a good stem to prevent flop-backs. im also looking for chrome, 42-spoke rims. i also want good, metal pedals and cranks. i basically need opinions/suggestions on every part of the bike. any advice on what to look for?
as for sprocket, im using a primo analog lite with an odessey 1-pc cassette driver. and yea i meant 48 spoke rims. again, any suggestions on parts will be appriciated

If you are really planning to upgrade your bike with the best parts, i strongly suggest not buying the haro backtrail x2 in the first place. The x2 doesn't have sealed bottom bracket nor sealed hubs, the headset is not even integrated, and the whole bike is heavy to begin with. I suggest Starting off with a bike that has sealed mid or spanish bottom bracket, sealed hubs, integrated headset, and at most 28 teeth sprocket, and then working your way up with upgrades here and there. BUT if you insist with the haro backtrail x2:

The Haro backtrail x2 is right hand drive with a 36 teeth sprocket and a 13 teeth freewheel hub. You can't mix and match cassette hubs with freewheel hubs. Cassette hubs is only compatible with cassette drivers and freewheel hubs are only compatible with freewheel cogs. What this means is that means you can't use a odyssey cassette driver on the original odyssey freewheel hub that is on the Haro backtrail x2. Keep in mind that since your crankset and rear hub must be both the same drive whether LHD or RHD. Also, when buying a new sprocket and cassette driver/freewheel cog, make sure that the gearing ratio is correct. For example: 23/8, 25/9, 28/10, 30/11, 36/13.

So here are some suggestions:

In your case with the primo analog lite sprocket, i suggest getting the primo in 25 teeth and a brand new 9 teeth "eastern 2-9er rear cassette wheel" because it comes in chrome, RHD (which is compatible with your right hand drive crankset), the hub is sealed and rim is 48 holes.

Now for cranks, keep in mind that your cranks have to be compatible with your sprocket and hub, meaning make sure that they are all RHD or LHD. Make sure that the cranks aren't limited to specific bore sizes for sprockets. In other words, if you're getting primo analog, that's a 15/16'' bore, so make sure that whatever cranks you get, it is compatible with 15/16'' bore sprockets. Also, Cranks have different spindle sizes like 19mm or 22mm. That means that your bottom bracket regardless of whether it is american, mid, euro, or spanish, it must be sealed to be compatible with either 19mm or 22mm. Unsealed bottom brackets are not compatible with high quality cranks. In your case, the x2 is unsealed american bottom bracket so you would definetly need to get a sealed american bottom bracket either 19mm or 22mm depending on what cranks you get. I suggest getting odyssey twombolt, or simply spending more than 100 bucks on cranks for a decent one.

For metal pedals, get animal hamilton pedals (unsealed). I trust animal with their quality and they come in variety of colors to fit your taste.
