Suzuki S400 Newer model with lower millage? OR...?
I am thinking about buying suzki s400. I found 2 of these bikes @ moto shop
1. 2005 white has 11000miles on it $2190
2. 2006 black has 6000miles on it $2490
A guy working there recommended me the first one. I really like white bike.
but I am worried if #1 would need maintenance sometime soon because of higher millage..
They said They checked all the mechanical stuff but
since I have any knowledge of bikes, I don know what to belieave ;-p
Should I choose newer & lower millage or it doesn't really matter????
In general, prices are negotiable at moto shops? They said they just marked down..
This is gonna be my first motorcycle, and I don't think I would ride on freeway or long drive.
I am 5'1 female so I thought s40 would be good for my body size.
Either one would be fine. You might want to check pricing on www.nada.com before you go back to the dealer. According to what I see the 05 is worth $2,165 and the 06 is worth $2,670 average so the 06 is a better deal. And Yes they will negotiate price. Personally I would offer them $2100 on the 05 out the door (includes tax and handling), if that is the one you like. Bike sales are slow right now its a good time to buy. Good luck!
