tips for a begininng avid bicycle rider?
i have been riding bikes since I was 4 but I just recently got a nice mt bike and I have been riding it a lot for the last coupled of days so my question is any tips/tools/supplies I need for before/during/after the ride? Thanks for reading and best answer gets 10 points and a 
depends on the trail.....most of the ones i go to would take me no longer then 20min to walk my bike back to my car, more then likely less then 10min so i only take a multi tool, and safety gear (helmet, shine guards, and gloves), but i do keep any extra tube and tire levers in my car....
if its a long trail that can take 30min+ to get back you may want to bring gear with you such as an extra tube, tire levers, duck tape, multi tool, small adjustable wrench, and an air pump....it up to you to decide how far you will have to walk vs fixing the bike else where....
popped tires are the most common problem, then loose bolt or loose cable.....
